Total Eye Care’s Colleyville eye doctors provide a wide range of ophthalmic services for patients of all ages since 1995.
Comprehensive Eye Exams
At Total Eye Care we pride ourselves on providing our patients with customized eye care using the latest high technology instrumentation. Our eye doctors stay abreast of the latest advancements in medicine and eye care to make sure you get the best care possible. Technology improves the detection and treatment of diseases, allowing Total Eye Care’s eye doctors to see their patients in a relaxed atmosphere.
Contact Lens Services
Total Eye Care’s contact lens specialist can evaluate and fit all patients, daily wear and extended wear are our bread and butter; however we specialize in hard to fit helping patients that require highly customized contact lens for conditions such as keratoconus, post surgical management, bifocal contact lenses, and orthokeratology. We are a referral center for patients requiring complex contact lenses and find these cases especially rewarding.
Orthokeratology
Also known as Ortho-K, Gentle Vision Shaping, or Corneal Molding is an FDA approved technique where contact lenses are used to reshape the cornea, allowing a person to see well without correction. Orthokeratology has also been clinically proven to reduce the progression of nearsightedness in children by up to 90%.
Glaucoma
Glaucoma is a progressive condition in which the peripheral vision gradually contracts. All of Total Eye Care’s eye doctors are optometric glaucoma specialists, they have received additional training in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma.
Optomap
Patients love the technology provided by the Optomap retinal exam. The Optomap allows our eye doctors to to see up to 80% of the back of our patients without dilation. While not a substitute for dilation the optomap provides a great alternative to dilation for patients that don’t wish to be dilated. The Optomap is another instrument that allows us to provide superior care.
Keratoconus
The use of contact lenses in the treatment of keratoconus remains the best option for the majority of patients. Total Eye Care serves as a referral center for the patients in the need of treatment for keratoconus.
Full Service Optical
Total Eye Care has hundreds of designer frames and in most cases can provide same day service for most prescriptions.
LASIK Surgery
Laser Assisted in-Situ Keratomileusis (LASIK) remains the most common refractive surgery today. At Total Eye Care we partner with our patients to find the best refractive procedure. We are not limited to any single procedure and have all procedures and surgeries at our disposal including LASIK, PRK (photo refractive keratectomy), 30 day extended wear contact lenses, clear lens extraction or orthokeratology to name a few.
Prosthetic Contact Lens Service
We fit patients with prosthetic contacts when a corneal scar or mis-shapened pupil causes a person’s eyes to look different. With special contact lenses it becomes difficult to notice that a patient’s eyes are not the same.
Urgent Eye Care
We offer same day appointments for patients with ocular emergencies.
Dry Eye Syndrome
Dry eyes are one of the most common ocular problems encountered and are often the source of many ocular problems such as eye pain, redness, blurred vision, and contact lens intolerance. Call today and have our dry eye experts help you
Post Refractive Surgery Contact Lenses
